ENGLISH EXTRA VOCABULARY (unit 6)
Apply: to use for or assign to a specific purpose.
Career: a person's progress or general course of action through life or through.
Charity: generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless.
Office: a room, set of rooms, or building where the business of a commercialor industrial organization or of a professional person is conducted.
Work experience: the experience that a person already has of working.
Cabin crew: in an aircraft, the people whose job it is to take care of the passengers.
Check in: to show your ticket at an airport so that you can be told where you will be sitting and so that your bags can be put on the aircraft.
Delayed: happening at a later time than expected or intended.
Long Haul: travelling a long distance.
Cure: something that makes someone who is sick healthy again.
Hunter: a person or an animal that hunts animals for food or for sport.

SHAKESPEARE PROJECT
1-What do you know about Shakespeare?
William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet and actor. Known at times as the Bard of Avon (or simply the Bard), Shakespeare is considered the most important writer in the English language and one of the most celebrated of universal literature.
2-And about the music of this historical period? (I give you one clue: together, we will play two "pavans").
Around the fourteenth century the medieval culture begins to transform thanks to the first Italian humanists, turning into the classical world with new values.
The Renaissance is defined by a set of features that can be grouped into three blocks: the recovery of classical Greco-Roman culture, the appreciation of the human and the search for idea perfection.

At the end of the 16th century, the use of interpreting, after the pavana, the music of one or more dances, of an opposite nature to the first one, was introduced. In Italy, these dances that followed were known by the name of Saltarello.
2- In your own words, try to express the feeling you get listening to this music.
These songs make me feel relaxed, calm, and they make me think about how they lived in that era acording to the music that they listen.
