GLOSSARY (only words I didn´t know before)

Approached: To come near.
Request: Ask to do something that you want to do.
Nodded: Shake the head in an affirmative expression.
Plateau: A land area having a level surface raised much higher above nearby land.
Skeptical: Inclined to have doubt or doubts.
Forgive: To grant a pardon for (an offense); absolve.
Pinnacle: A high peak or top of a mountain, esp. one that is pointed and thin.
Hatchets: A small, short-handled ax with one end of the head in a blade and the other in the shape of a hammer, made to be used with one hand.
Poisonous: Full of or containing poison.
Half-ape: A medium of an ape.
Shook hands with: Say hello with the hand.
Ape: A manlike animal similar to monkeys, with long arms, a broad chest, and no tail.
Chief: The head or leader of an organized body.
Weapons: An instrument or device used for attack or defense.
Spears: A long wooden shaft with a sharp-pointed head of metal or stone attached to it.
Clerk: A person employed to keep records or perform general tasks in an office, etc.
